Sunflowers!!!

We are so excited about our Sunflowers!  The field is in full bloom - about 500,000 blooms! It’s a perfect time for pictures and for picking. The best part is that because we planted it in sections the second half is just a few more days away! Did you know… our sunflowers are planted in a maze! It makes for paths all the way through the flowers. You can truly be surrounded by flowers!

Some people have been asking what you do at the Sunflower Festival.  So, here goes….
First, Buy Tickets Online—You must choose a time frame so we can space out attendees
Next, Arrive within an hour of your time.
Then, Check-in, pick up a bucket and some clippers
Next, Head out to the field, take some great pictures and pick your favorite flowers!
Finally, Check-out, we can wrap up your flowers or put them in a container for you.
 
Our little baby animals are also hanging out by the sunflowers and love visitors.  These are the babies from the Baby Animal Festival--now’s your chance to pet them.  They are always a favorite with the kids!
 
Tips for Your Visit:
Plan for about an hour to enjoy the sunflower field. 
It is a true field so wear shoes you can walk in.
The weather has been hot! Hats, Umbrellas, and Sunscreen have been useful!
The mosquitos can be pretty pesky!  Repellent will make it more enjoyable.
Come ready for lots of smiles
 
We sell soda pop, water, gatorade, popsicles and ice cream bars.  You can also bring your own.
