Food Team
Donut Shop, Grill, Snack Shack, and Caramel Apple Shop.
You will be working closely with other team members in the food venues.
Make our famous Apple Cider Donuts, Cross E Ranch Hamburgers, hand-dipped corndogs, and our fresh limeades! Your interactions with the customers will be when working the order window at the register, at the order pick-up window, and when outside collecting trays and cleaning the eating areas. Other responsibilities include handling and preparing food, assembling orders, keeping stations clean, washing and sanitizing dishes, and nightly closing clean up.
Activities & Interactions Team
AgVenture Alley and Animal Areas
On the Activities and Interactions Team, you will be working outside, stationed at our different areas, which include ziplines, slides, rockwall, yard games, obstacle course, animal pens, and animal areas.
You will interact face-to-face with the customers, helping them in certain areas and explaining the different activities. In the animal pens, you are not specifically working with the animals; your position is to ensure the animals remain in the pens and the gates stay closed as guests come in and out, and cleaning up after the animals. Interacting with the guests and answering their questions. In the bunny and chick areas, you will be handling the animals and explaining to the guests how they can interact with and pet the animals. On the activities and interactions team, you will be rotating throughout the shift and will work in multiple areas, not just in the animal pens.
Things to think about when applying for this job:
You must be 16 to apply
You are working on a farm (exposure to weather)
You need to be able to work the shift times 4-8/9 weekdays and a Saturday shift (6hrs)!
This is a fun job that takes working on your feet and moving around helping our guests have a great experience at Cross E Ranch.
